Crisis Intervention
A crisis intervention is an immediate and short-term emergency response to mental, emotional, physical, and behavioral distress. Crisis interventions help to restore an individual’s equilibrium to their bio-psychosocial functioning and minimize the potential for long-term trauma or distress.
Mental Health Rehabilitation
Texas Care offers mental health rehabilitation services to children, young adults, adolescents, adults, and their families. In most cases, these services are provided within the individuals usual environment such as their community, home, school, or other location that is appropriate for the needs of the individual and their family.
Evaluations and Assessment
At Texas Care, all assessments are provided by a licensed mental health professional and seeks to give a good broad overview of your mental health including screening for depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, PTSD, attention deficit, phobias, and just about anything found in the DSM-5 manual which is used by mental health professionals.
